West Ham are planning a move for Celta Vigo duo Maximiliano Gomez and Stanislav Lobotka this summer, as they reignite their interest in the Slovakia international.

The Hammers were linked with a move for the pair in January but interest in Lobotka had appeared to have cooled, with the focus on signing Gomez to strengthen their attacking options.

However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s official website, West Ham have reignited their interest in the midfielder and are planning to offer Celta a fee in the region of €60million for both Gomez and Lobotka.

The combative midfielder played 32 times for the La Liga outfit last season while Gomez’s 13 goals from his 35 league appearances helped steer Vigo clear of relegation.

The duo would become the first two signings for the Hammers this summer, following five departures from the club.

Andy Carroll, Samir Nasri and Adrian have all been released, while Lucas Perez and Edimilson Fernandes both completed moves to Deportivo Alaves and Mainz respectively.
