West Ham target Gary Medel willing to terminate contract
Besiktas midfielder Gary Medel is willing to terminate his contract this summer in pursuit of a return back to England.
According to Turkish outlet Milliyet, cited by Sport Witness, West Ham are willing to reignite their interest in the 31-year-old ahead of a potential free transfer.
Medel, who spent one season with Cardiff City back in 2013, is unhappy at unpaid wages with his current side, and as a result, is looking at terminating his deal.
The Chile international was linked with a move to the Hammers and Burnley back in January, however, a move never materialised.
Medel, who can also fill in at the back, is renowned for his no-nonsense approach, something West Ham fans could warm to if he makes the move to the London Stadium.
A possible free transfer could be a smart piece of business by Manuel Pellegrini, who is looking to add numerous members to the first-team squad over the summer.
