West Ham back in for Porto’s Yacine Brahimi

West Ham are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Algeria winger Yacine Brahimi.

The FC Porto star was heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium last summer, however, the creative wide man remained in Portugal.

The 29-year-old has continued to impress in Liga Nos this season, scoring 13 times and providing nine assists in all competitions.

And as a result of that form, West Ham are keen on landing the player once again this summer.

According to Portuguese newspaper Record, relayed in an article by Sport Witness, the Hammers ‘haven’t given up’ in their pursuit of Brahimi.

The player is out of contract at the end of the season and could be available to join the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer if he doesn’t sign a new deal.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is thought to be keen on bolstering his attacking options, and signing Brahimi on a free transfer could prove to be one of the best pieces of business all summer.
