West Ham’s Edimilson Fernandes has been linked with a move to French Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Reports in L’Equipe, via SportWitness, suggest that the French side could make a move for West Ham’s Swiss midfielder this Summer, with Lyon expecting to sell the highly touted youngster Tanguy Ndombele over the transfer window.

Fernandes has been sent out on loan to Serie A side Fiorentina this season and has made 25 appearances for the Florentine side in the league.
This came after two underwhelming seasons for West Ham, after joining from Swiss side FC Sion during the 2016 Summer transfer window.
However, Fiorentina do have the option to make Fernandes’ loan permanent at the end of the season, with the Italian side potentially only having to pay €8 million to bring Fernandes to Florence on a permanent basis.
This would hinder any potential move to Lyon, but the French side have been scouting the midfielder and have became big fans of the Swiss midfielder.
