West Ham ready to spend £20m on Argentine striker
West Ham are seemingly prepared for a striking exodus this summer, with reports suggesting the East Londoners are ready to say goodbye to no less than four options in the transfer window.
A Team Talk report states Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll, and Lucas Perez are nearing the end of their claret and blue careers, and Manuel Pellegrini has already identified one name he wants to bring into the club.
Dario Benedetto has been a force in the Americas in recent years, and has scored goals in both Mexico, and his native Argentina.
Currently plying his trade for Boca Juniors, Benedetto has been a reliable goalscorer when he can find the field.
The same Team Talk report claims that West Ham are ready to cough up £20 million for the 28-year-old who sustained a serious knee injury back in 2017.
Benedetto has also received five caps for Argentina, and could benefit from familiarity with Manuel Lanzini.
