West Ham show interest in Gary Cahill
West Ham have been keeping a close eye on veteran Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
According to the Mirror, Cahill has attracted quite the interest from their fellow London counterparts.
The defender joined Chelsea back in 2012 from Bolton for a fee of around £7.5 million and has played an important part in the Blues defence over the last seven years.
Cahill, 33, has won seven trophies in his time at Chelsea, with two Premier League titles and a Champions League winner’s medal being the most notable inclusions.
Before international retirement, he made 61 appearances and scored five goals for England.
A move to the London Stadium could see Cahill partner up with another ex-Premier League winner in the form of Pablo Zabaleta.
With his contract with Chelsea ending in the summer and there being no talk of an extension at this stage, a move away from Stamford Bridge looks to be on the cards.
