West Ham United defender Sam Byram returned to action for loan club Nottingham Forest after missing eight months, as reported on Football London.
The full-back joined the Championship club on a season-long loan deal last summer but suffered a knee injury in August.

Byram was eased back from his injury by playing some U23 matches but on Tuesday night, he started for Forest against Sheffield Wednesday.
The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes and despite losing 3-0, many people were impressed with the full-back’s performance.

After the game, Byram said:
I felt fit and it’s good to be back.
The full-back will be hoping to stay at West Ham next season and fight for a starting place under manager Manuel Pellegrini.
