West Ham make approach over M’Vila deal

West Ham have made an approach to sign St Etienne midfielder Yann M’Vila in the summer.

According to L’Equipe, via GFFN, West Ham have contacted St Etienne over a potential deal for M’Vila in the next transfer window.

The report claims that M’Vila is happy in France and is yet to make a decision on his future, which means that it is unclear as to whether or not he would be interested in a move to the Premier League with West Ham.

M’Vila has been a regular for St Etienne this season in Ligue 1 and impressed in midfield, after a spell in Russia with Rubin Kazan. 

The Frenchman has experience playing in England, after making 37 Premier League appearances whilst on loan to Sunderland during the 2015/16 campaign.
