Atalanta to demand €50m for Duvan Zapata

Atalanta are set to demand a fee of €50m for in-form forward Duvan Zapata in the summer.

According to Calcio Mercato, Atalanta want €50m for the striker, who has been on fire in the Serie A this season.

The Colombian international has scored 19 league goals for the club, as well as adding five assists.

West Ham have been linked with a swoop for the striker, with Calcio Mercato claiming that Inter Milan are also interested in sealing a deal as they look to bolster their squad at the end of the season.

Inter are looking to replace Mauro Icardi, who has been frozen out of the first-team picture at the San Siro. He was relieved of the captaincy earlier this season.

The former Napoli forward, Zapata, has scored as many Serie A goals as Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo this season, with a better minutes-per-goal ratio on top of that.
