West Ham keeping tabs on Leonardo Koutris

West Ham are reportedly setting their sights on Olympiakos defender Leonardo Koutris.

According to claims from TEAMtalk, the 23-year-old has attracted plenty of interest from clubs in the Premier League, with the Hammers among those who are keen.

Manuel Pellegrini has Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku at his disposal as left-back options, but it seems West Ham’s scouts are keeping tabs on Koutris’ performances.

TEAMtalk claims that Olympiakos are looking to secure a fee worth just under £10 million for their in-demand defender, who had been a target for Serie A outfit Genoa.

The Italian club pursued a deal to sign Koutris from the Greek giants, but they rebuffed their offer worth £5 million.

West Ham reportedly sent scouts to observe the full-back in action for Greece as they beat Liechtenstein in their European Championships qualifying fixture on Saturday.

The Hammers are not the only Premier League side in the hunt for Koutris, however, with the report stating that Newcastle United, Leicester City and Everton are keen.
