Felipe Anderson is happy at the moment.
The winger made the move to West Ham from Lazio during the summer, and it’s hard to imagine his first season in London working out much better for the 25-year-old.
A series of impressive performances from the forward have endeared him to the Hammers’ faithful, and also to the Brazilian national team selectors.
Having only made one senior appearance for the Selecao, the exciting wide-man is itching for a chance to reestablish himself on the international stage.
Speaking to the official club website, Felipe Anderson said:
I can’t wait, It has been a long time since I was called up to the Brazilian national team and that’s very important to me.
As a consequence of playing well I got a call-up, so I’m very excited to go there and show my worth. For sure, going to the competition is one of my goals. I can still remember all the preparation for my first game. It was a magical match. It’s something I want to live again.
I want to thank West Ham because this club has allowed me to showcase my abilities.
Brazil face Panama in Portugal on Saturday evening, before then facing the Czech Republic next week.
