Patrik Hrosovsky’s agent has claimed that West Ham made a “serious offer” for his client in January, and that the Hammers will make another offer in the Summer.
The midfielder, who plays his football for Czech outfit Victoria Plzen, was wanted by West Ham in January, with the Hammers making a “serious offer” for the 26-year-old.
However, no move was ever finalised, and Hrosovsky remained in the Czech Republic.
Despite this, the Slovakian’s agent has revealed that West Ham could make another move for the midfielder this Summer, with the Hammers still interested in a move for Hrosovsky.
The player’s agent told Ruik in the Czech Republic that:
Our goal and Patrik’s goal is to move to the best football competitions, and for Patrik, the English league is at the top, specifically, in West Ham, Patrik is being closely monitored and will continue to do so in the spring and hopefully the right offer and the opportunity to move to West Ham will come in the summer.
West Ham is interested and, even at the end of January, a serious cash offer was made, but both Plzen and Patrik and I decided that it is not good to change in the middle of the season, where the competition is open. The same was confirmed by West Ham, that coach Pellegrini does not like to hit the market in the middle of the season and that it is customary to rebuild the team at the end of the season before the new season. So West Ham is still a topic we want to return to in the summer.
Hrosovsky has made over 150 league appearances for Victoria Plzen and has over 22 caps for Slovakia.
The midfielder could have moved to West Ham in January, but Manuel Pellegrini decided against signing him in the middle of the season.
