Arnautovic focused on West Ham after failed move to China
West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has insisted that he is focused on being successful with the Hammers after his proposed move to China broke down.
As reported on HITC, the striker looked set to leave the London club in the January transfer window.
However, he eventually stayed with the club and he claims that he is in the correct mindset. When asked about the move, he said:
I think it’s really blatant, what a media attention that has caused.
Otherwise, I do not want to say much about it anymore. I’m a West Ham United player and I do my utmost to be successful with my team.
Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande wanted the 29-year-old but failed to meet West Ham’s £45m price tag.
Arnautovic will now be hoping to help West Ham to a top ten finish in the Premier League this season, with the Hammers facing London rivals Fulham tonight.
