Arthur Masuaku could soon be on his way out of the London Stadium, should the Hammers get an offer too good to refuse. 

The Irons are reportedly ready to hear bids for the 25-year-old, who has found a role in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad on the perimeter of the back four. 

Signed by Slaven Bilic in 2014 for £6 million, making the move to East London from Olympiacos, it seems as though the Frenchman’s new boss isn’t as enthralled with him as his former manager was. 

Able to play as a left-back or left-midfielder, fans have sometimes felt as if the Lille-native has appeared out of his depth when trying to defend Premier League-quality wingers.

14 starts in 25 league games this season indicates that the Chilean tactician has turned to Masuaku only in times of crisis, rather than as a preferred choice. 

Aaron Cresswell presents the other option in the position, and his seniority at the club seems to be protecting his spot on the roster.
