Manuel Pellegrini has provided an update on Samir Nasri’s fitness, revealing that the French midfielder is set to miss West Ham’s game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
The 31-year old missed out on the Hammer’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool at the London Stadium on Monday with a calf injury, and Pellegrini had hoped he would have the former Manchester City man available at Selhurst Park.
However, the Chilean coach will have to do without, and will hope the former France international isn’t needed, with the club currently winless in three Premier League games.
While providing an injury update ahead of this weekend’s game, Pellegrini told the media:
Marko Arnautovic and Aaron Cresswell worked the complete week, but Samir Nasri needs more time to work on his calf injury.
