Marko Arnautovic is set to return for West Ham this weekend, with Manuel Pellegrini confirming that the Austrian will be fit for the trip to Crystal Palace.
Speaking ahead of the away clash at Selhurst Park, Pellegrini confirmed that Arnautovic will be returning after missing the draw with Liverpool on Monday with a foot injury.
The forward picked up the knock in the defeat to Wolves, but will now be back for the trip to face Roy Hodgson’s side.
Speaking ahead of the matchup, Pellegrini said, via West Ham’s official site:
Marko is available for the weekend. He worked the complete week without problems.
Of course, it is good news for us. He is a player who makes a difference and is important for our team. He needs to recover his best shape after a long time without playing and with his last injury, so I hope he will be a very important player for us over the last part of the season.
Arnautovic recently confirmed his commitment to the Hammers by signing a new deal, after much speculation linked him with a move to China.
West Ham will be glad to have their forward back, despite picking up a great point without him on Monday evening.
Pellegrini also confirmed that Manuel Lanzini could be in line to make the bench for the Fulham game, with the Argentine midfielder recovering from his long term knee injury.
