West Ham in race to sign Brahimi in the summer

West Ham are in the race to sign Porto star Yacine Brahimi on a free transfer at the end of the season.

According to A Bola, via Sport Witness, West Ham are one of a number of clubs hoping to land Brahimi in the summer.

The report claims that West Ham are joined by Everton, Newcastle and AC Milan in their pursuit of the forward.

Brahimi’s current deal with Porto is due to expire in the summer and he is yet to commit his future to the Portuguese giants.

The Algerian international is enjoying a fine season for Porto, with nine goals and six assists for the club, which has attracted interest from West Ham.

Manuel Pellegrini was able to add Samir Nasri to his squad in January, but is now eyeing further changes to his forward options by landing Brahimi ahead of next season.
