Hernandez expected to push for summer move away from West Ham

Javier Hernandez is expected to push for a summer move away from West Ham.

According to reports from football.london, the striker is frustrated to have missed out on a January exit.

Hernandez was heavily linked with a move to join Valencia, but West Ham rejected any forthcoming offers.

It is claimed that the La Liga side were offering around £7 million to take the player this month, an amount West Ham deemed too low.

With Marko Arnautovic also being tipped to pursue a move in the summer, Manuel Pellegrini’s striker options could look very different by the time next season rolls around.

Big things were expected of Hernandez when he made the move back to the Premier League after two impressive seasons with Bayer Leverkusen, but he has been unable to break into West Ham’s plans on a regular basis.
