West Ham have made a second bid for Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to a report from The Mail.
However, it is reported that the Italian side have rejected West Ham’s second bid as they know interest is high in the striker and as such, they are waiting for the likes of AC Milan to make them a proposal.
Piatek is reportedly being lined up by the Hammers as a possible replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who is subject to interest from the Chinese Super League.
However, AC Milan are also in the market for a new striker as it appears that they’re about to lose Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea, and as such, Genoa are waiting to see if they can get a bidding war started for the Polish international.
The Mail also reports that Callum Wilson of Bournemouth and Maxi Gomez of Celta Vigo are other targets for the Hammers as they look to find a new striker before they let Arnautovic leave.
