Michail Antonio has heaped plenty of praise on West Ham’s new signing Samir Nasri.
As reported on Football London, Antonio has been impressed with the impact that Nasri has had on the entire squad.
The Frenchman has played twice for the Hammers and made his Premier League debut for the club on Saturday against Arsenal.
Nasri set up the winner with a perfectly weighted lay off to Declan Rice, who smashed the ball into the top corner.
The former Manchester City and Arsenal playmaker looked dangerous throughout the game and Antonio believes he could play a crucial part for the team. He said:
Samir is such a quality player. He is two steps ahead of everyone. He slows the game around where he has people ahead of him. He’s able to able to slow the game down to his own pace.
What a signing he is. He’s going to be massive for us. He had a couple of rusty touches yesterday but a couple of games down the line he’s going to be massive for us.
Nasri was quick to thank the West Ham fans for their support and he vowed to give 100% until the end of the season.
