West Ham are poised to make a second offer for Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey this month.
According to The Express, West Ham are keen to land the Englishman and are ready to make another bid in the coming days.
The report claims that Newcastle have already rejected an offer of £10m from West Ham, who are looking to replace Pedro Obiang.

Fiorentina have agreed a deal with West Ham to bring Obiang to Italy, with the transfer fee thought to be in the region of €11m.
Shelvey has struggled with injuries this season, but has impressed in his limited appearances.
The midfielder has only started eight Premier League matches, with a further three substitute appearances, failing to score but registering one assist to his name.
Shelvey would come in to compete with the likes of Mark Noble, Robert Snodgrass and Declan Rice for a place in the midfield.
