Palace ‘confident’ of landing West Ham target Moses

Crystal Palace are reportedly confident of convincing Victor Moses to rejoin the club.

The Evening Standard claim the South Londoners are poised to make a move for the Nigerian international, who left Selhurst Park for Wigan Athletic eight years ago.

Having made just five appearances for the Blues this season, Maurizio Sarri seems to have decided the 28-year-old is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Moses has received loan chances on three occasions during his Chelsea career, heading to Liverpool, Stoke, and West Ham respectively.

A Palace youth product, Moses was considered one of football’s brightest stars when he burst onto the domestic football stage whilst still a teenager.

There may be competition for Palace though, with the suggestion that both West Ham and Wolves are also keen on the versatile wide-man, who has been used both as a wing-back and as part of a front three.

Hammers’ boss Manuel Pellegrini is understandably eager to welcome fresh attacking talent, with his forwards suffering something of an injury crisis.
