West Ham United defender Issa Diop has revealed that he is ready to play every single minute during the busy December fixture schedule, according to a report on the Daily Star.
The Hammers are starting to pick up injuries but Diop is prepared to soldier through the difficult period for the sake of the team.
The summer signing has made an impressive start to life at West Ham and has cemented his place in the starting lineup.
When asked if he was happy to be playing all the time, Diop said:
Yeah, I’m very happy [doing that] I’m not too tired.
I’m young so I can play every game.
Fellow defenders Winston Reid and Ryan Fredericks are long-term absentees, whilst Fabian Balbuena was rested on Tuesday night after picking up a slight knock last weekend.
Diop has been ever-present at the back for the Hammers and knows that he will be needed as the fixtures begin to come thick and fast.
