West Ham are keeping tabs on the progress of Emiliano Sala at FC Nantes ahead of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Star on Sunday.
The Hammers have been linked with a plethora of attacking players as the upcoming transfer window draws ever closer and Sala is believed to be among those under consideration.
West Ham are well-stocked with forward players but are understood to be on the lookout for further inspiration ahead of the second half of the season.

Sala, 28, is currently the joint-top scorer in Ligue 1 and his tally of 11 goals is matched only by Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
West Ham are not the only Premier League club in the race to sign Sala, however. According to reports, Wolves, Everton and Crystal Palace are all also keeping close eyes on the Argentinean striker.
Nantes are set to be intent on keeping hold of Sala beyond the January transfer window. Despite this, it seems there will be plenty of potential suitors for the striker should he seek a new challenge in January.
