West Ham are plotting a move for Marseille striker Kostas Mitroglou in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, via The BBC, West Ham are eyeing a loan swoop for the forward, who is set to be available.
Despite scoring three goals in nine Ligue 1 appearances this season, Marseille are ready to replace Mitroglou in the next transfer window, which will allow West Ham to nip in and secure a deal.

Mitroglou scored 13 goals in 30 games for Marseille last season, after scoring 52 goals in 86 appearances for Benfica over a two-year spell in Portugal.
The 30-year-old joined Fulham for a club-record £12m in 2013, but flopped massively as he failed to score in three appearances before being moved on in 2015.
He has scored 17 goals in 62 appearances for Greece and scored 176 career goals for his clubs.
