West Ham are reportedly lining up a surprise move to land former Arsenal winger Gervinho in January.
The experienced attacker is currently plying his trade in Italy with Parma but according to claims from Calciomercato, the Hammers are keen to bring him back to the Premier League.
Gervinho, now 31-years-old, has been in good form for Parma this season and has featured regularly for his side in Serie A. From seven league appearances, he has found the net on three occasions.

Calciomercato’s report indicates that although West Ham are keen to recruit Gervinho from Parma in the January transfer window, the Italian outfit have no intention of letting their star man depart in the near future.
West Ham have been left somewhat light in the wide areas of their squad following the long-term injury sustained by Andriy Yarmolenko.
This appears to have led them to explore options ahead of the mid-season transfer market, with fresh claims indicating that former Arsenal man Gervinho is a player who is being considered.
