Wes Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has heaped praise on youngster Grady Diangana, comparing the winger to former Arsenal star Santi Carzola.
The 20-year-old already has a number of first-team appearances to his name, with his most notable coming in the Hammers’ 8-0 hammering of League Two side Macclesfield Town in the Carabao Cup.
The youngster found the back of the net twice late on with some composed finishes to add to his overall impressive display.
Since then, Diangana has also made his first appearances in the Premier League, with a brief substitute cameo appearance during a memorable 3-1 win over Manchester United followed up by a 51 minute stint against Tottenham Hotspur.

Talking to the club’s official website ahead of the fixture with Leicester City, Pellegrini was full of praise for the 20-year-old, revealing the wide man will be featuring regularly for the first-team for the remainder of the campaign.
I trust in him. He loses very few balls during the game and always has a good solution also because every player, when you receive the ball has different solutions, bad or good, he always has the best solution.
I think that, in this season, he will be a player in the first squad playing a lot of games.
Pellegrini, who previously worked at Villarreal, then compared Diangana to Carzola.
I have worked with so many young players, but maybe when I arrived at Villarreal I was very impressed with Santi Cazorla. He was 19-years-old and was not in the first squad, he was with the Under-21s and in that moment, he maybe wasn’t considered a top player.
But when I saw him play I think that he has, maybe not exactly the same as Diangana but, technical ability with a good view of the pitch and with a good solution when they receive the ball.
