West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere has suffered an unfortunate set-back in his recovery from an ankle injury.
According to The Mirror, Wilshere had surgery midway through last month, but now has discovered that he will face, at least, one more week on the sideline.
He was told that he could be back in action within six weeks, with this latest development setting that timeline back.

Wilshere joined West Ham on a free transfer from Arsenal in the summer and has struggled to find his best form so far.
Since his injury, Declan Rice, Pedro Obiang and Mark Noble have made the midfield their own, with some impressive performances in the Premier League.
Wilshere’s entire career has been blighted with injury and West Ham may be worried that this is the first of many set-backs for the England international this season.
