According to Sky Sports, West Ham have been handed a major injury boost ahead of their fixture against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, with Marko Arnautovic likely to be passed fit.
The versatile attacker has been nursing an ongoing knee issue in recent weeks but was called up to the Austrian national squad for their international fixtures during the break.
Arnautovic played just once on international duty because of a pre-reached agreement between West Ham and Austria. The forward did not disappoint in his sole appearance either, as he netted the decisive goal in his country’s 1-0 win against Northern Ireland.

The 29-year-old has since returned to West Ham to ensure that he is given sufficient rest for his knee problem, which has been a cause for concern in recent time.
Following Arnautovic’s involvement for Austria, his availability for West Ham ahead of their clash with Tottenham had come under some scrutiny.
However, as Sky Sports confirm, it seems Arnautovic will be fit to take on Mauricio Pochettino’s side as West Ham look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Brighton prior to the international break.
