West Ham make final contract offer to Declan Rice
West Ham United have made a final contract offer to Declan Rice in a bid to tie down the player’s immediate future.
The London Evening Standard reports that the Hammers have offered the player a deal worth £21,000 per week, which will increase by £5000 after every 15 Premier League games he features in, plus a bonus of £20,000 for every league game in which he starts.
The report claims that the Hammers are prepared to walk away from contract talks if Rice does not accept their final offer.
Rice has already rejected an improved offer from the club, which was believed to be worth around £15,000 a week.
The youngster has impressed this season and is keen to earn himself an improved deal at the club.
A number of Premier League teams are believed to be watching the situation carefully and could swoop in for him if the Hammers are unable to meet his demands.
