Snodgrass confident that West Ham can defeat Chelsea

Robert Snodgrass is in confident mood ahead of West Ham’s upcoming fixture against Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Scotland international, as quoted by the Evening Standard, looked ahead to his side’s all-London clash with the Blues as they look to make it two consecutive wins in the top-flight.

After a treacherous start to the Premier League season, West Ham were able to win their first match in five as they defeated Everton away from home. A brace from Andriy Yarmolenko and a goal from Marko Arnautovic sealed the win for the Hammers.

Snodgrass will be hoping to play a part when West Ham lock horns with Chelsea but is likely to find himself out of the team following Yarmolenko’s blistering full Premier League debut.

The important thing was to get that win as it gives us the confidence to beat Chelsea.

The experienced winger has featured regularly for the Hammers since Manuel Pellegrini was appointed as the club’s new manager and will be keen to take his chances when they arise.

When you get the confidence from winning away, you need to take it to your home stadium and win there, too.
