Championship side Aston Villa have made a €9m offer for West Ham target Harold Moukoundi.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Aston Villa have bid for the central defender to secure a January transfer.
The report claims, however, that Moukoundi could prefer to stay in France, with interest from Ligue 1 side Rennes.
Moukoundi currently plies his trade in Ligue 2 for Le Havre, where he has made over 40 appearances.
The 20-year-old’s contract with Le Havre expires at the end of the season, which could tempt them into selling in the next transfer window.
West Ham were previously interested in the centre-back, with the club strengthening their options over the summer transfer window.
If Moukoundi fails to make a move in this window, West Ham could make another move for him in the January transfer window.
