West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has admitted that the players and fans need to be patient after their disappointing start to the season, according to a report on the official club website.
The shot-stopper joined the Hammers from relegated Swansea City during the summer transfer window and has already endured two defeats.

Fabianski believes that the team needs some time to work well together, especially as new manager Manuel Pellegrini and his staff look to implement their ideas and philosophies.
The Hammers added nine new players to their squad and the Poland international has requested the Hammers fans to stick by the team.
He said:
We have to keep looking forward and keep working with this group of players because obviously there are big changes and it always takes time to gel. Hopefully, it will happen sooner rather than later.
From my perspective, every time we had the ball in possession, we just wanted to go straight forward and maybe we have to be more balanced in some situations. If we relax a bit more and take care of the ball a bit better, then we will benefit.
We are a new group of players and it will take time, but hopefully, it will click soon. I hope the fans will understand the situation and I think they do. It’s important that they are supportive in every single game and keep believing in the team, because this group of players really has something quite good in terms of quality and, with a little more work, we will see the effects on the pitch.
Fabianski pulled off a string of fine saves on Saturday afternoon against Bournemouth but it wasn’t enough as the Cherries secured a 2-1 victory at the London Stadium.
The Hammers face a tough trip to the Emirates to play Fabianski’s former club Arsenal next and they will be hoping to register their first league points of the season.
