West Ham defender Reece Oxford has reportedly emerged as a target for Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96.
According to a report from German outlet Kicker, Oxford is a name that features on Hannover’s four-man shortlist as the club press ahead with their efforts to sign a new central defender.
Hannover appear to be looking to England for their new defensive recruit, with Southampton centre-back Jan Bednarek also reportedly being eyed by the German club.

It’s reported by Kicker that experienced German central defender Serdar Tasci is the club’s number one target this summer, but with the player appearing to be unattainable before the end of the month, Oxford has seemingly emerged as a potential option for Hannover.
Oxford enjoyed a spell in the Bundesliga with Borussia Monchengladbach and appears to be wanted back in Germany, with Hannover the latest club to have expressed an interest in recruiting him from West Ham this summer.
