West Ham have been told that they will need to pay €40 million to sign Moussa Marega, with Everton now joining the race.
According to reports from France, as cited on Get French Football News, the Portuguese side are holding for a club to pay the striker’s full release clause.
Both of the aforementioned Premier League sides remain in talks over a deal, with time running out in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are said to have offered €30 million for the forward as they go in search of a new striker.

Manuel Pellegrini has been keen to add another striker to his ranks and the club have been long-term admirers of Marega.
Maxi Gomez and Antonio Sanabria have also been linked with moves to West Ham, but Marega appears to be the club’s number one target.
The latter is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League, but Porto are keen to not sell on the cheap.
