Middlesbrough are in talks to sign West Ham striker Jordan Hugill on a season-long loan.
According to Sky Sports, Middlesbrough are keen to bring Hugill in on a temporary deal, with the forward out-of-favour at West Ham.
Hugill joined West Ham from Preston in January in a deal thought to be worth in the region of £10m.
The report claims that Middlesbrough are eager to get the deal done after they sold Adama Traore to Wolves for £18m and Patrick Bamford to Leeds for £7m.
Hugill is said to be keen to join Middlesbrough, as he seeks regular game time next season.
Aston Villa are also interested in Hugill, but the forward grew up supporting Boro and would prefer a move to teeside.
Hugill is set to leave West Ham as the club look to sign a new striker of their own, with Moussa Marega heavily linked with a switch to England.
