West Ham have made an offer for highly rated Le Havre centre-back Harold Moukoudi, according to the Daily Mail.
Moukoudi is rated at around £10.7 million by his current club and it is reported that the Hammers have matched the Ligue 2’s valuation for the defender.
The 20-year-old, who has played in Le Havre’s opening two league games this campaign, has spent his entire career with the club and is approaching 50 appearances for the French outfit.
Moukoudi made his first team debut back in 2016 and has impressed Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is keen to bring the powerful centre back to the London Stadium.
The Hammers have already spent more than £100 million on eight signings this summer, including European stars Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko, along with snapping up the services of Jack Wilshere and Ryan Fredericks on free transfers and French under-20 international Moukoudi could well be signing number nine.
