West Ham are not fazed by Porto’s asking price for striker Moussa Marega, according to a report from A Bola, as translated by Sport Witness.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with a move for the forward in recent times following his impressive season in Liga NOS with Porto.
Marega led the line for his side on 29 occasions last term and flourished in front of goal. The forward found the net on a total of 22 occasions and appears to have piqued the interest of West Ham in the process.
The Hammers are understood to be keen on recruiting the Malian attacker this summer, but they will be forced to cough up a huge sum if they are to lure him away from Porto.

According to A Bola’s report, the Portuguese side will demand that any potential suitor for Marega meets the player’s release clause, which is priced at a hefty figure of €40m.
Nevertheless, this does not appear to have deterred West Ham as they go in search of signing the striker, with it being claimed that the valuation of Marega ‘doesn’t upset the mood’ with regards to a potential transfer.
With just under two weeks remaining before the Premier League season begins, it seems as though West Ham could yet make their move for another attacking option.
