West Ham in talks to sell Kouyate

West Ham are in talks with Crystal Palace over a deal to take Cheikhou Kouyate to Selhurst Park this summer.

According to Sky Sports, talks are underway over a move for the powerful midfielder.

The report claims that Kouyate is valued at £10m, with Palace keen on getting a deal done.

The 28-year-old has made over 100 Premier League appearances for West Ham since he joined the club in 2014, scoring 12 goals.

He is able to play in central midfield, or as a central defender, showing versatility in his game. Kouyate has also been capped 42 times by Senegal at international level, and competed in the World Cup for his country in Russia this summer.

West Ham are also thought to be close to selling midfielder Pedro Obiang to Sampdoria in the coming days.
