Pedro Obiang is in advanced talks with Sampdoria about a possible €10m move, according to Sky Sports.
Obiang is under contract at West Ham until 2022 but it looks like he could be on his way to Italy.
Sky reports suggest that Obiang is not pushing for a move but he will happily move to Sampdoria if West Ham decide to accept a bid.

The Spaniard joined West Ham from Sampdoria back in 2015 and it looks like he could be set to make a return after three seasons in England.
The news of the talks will come as a surprise to Hammers fans who would have been expecting the 26-year-old to be a key part of the club’s first team going into the new season.
However, if Sky’s reports are correct, Manuel Pellegrini has seemingly decided that he does not need the midfielder as part of his squad for his first campaign in charge of the club.
