Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign exciting West Ham youngster Domingos Quina this summer.
The midfielder has been courted by a number of clubs across Europe in recent times and it seems Barcelona are the latest team to have expressed an interest in the prospect.
Sky Sports report that despite Quina’s undoubted potential, West Ham could be prepared to cash in on the 18-year-old. The claims indicate that offers in excess of £600k will be considered by Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Quina has previously been linked with a move to AC Milan, with a host of prestigious European clubs having been touted as potential destinations for the youngster.
It’s stated that Barcelona have often sent representatives out to monitor Quina’s progress, as he continues to establish himself as one of Portugal’s brightest young talents.
However, the La Liga champions will be faced with competition from Germany. It’s claimed by Sky Sports that Bundesliga pair Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen have also expressed an interest in the Portugal U19 international.
