West Ham are reportedly interested in promising Manchester City playmaker Brahim Diaz.
The Hammers are noted by Spanish news outlet Diario Sport as one of the clubs keen to land Diaz, with Girona also understood to be keen on a summer deal.
Diaz’s current contract at Manchester City runs until the summer of 2019 but according to recent reports, negotiations regarding a new deal at the Etihad Stadium are at an impasse.

This has led to speculation regarding Diaz’s future at the club, with suitors now allegedly beginning to circle.
It’s claimed by Sport that although Diaz would be keen to remain at City and continue to develop under the stewardship of Guardiola, the club feel as though the 18-year-old could progress more quickly whilst playing regular first-team football elsewhere.
West Ham don’t appear to have quite finished off their summer business just yet, and it seems they are closely monitoring Diaz’s ongoing contractual situation with City.
