Burnley have reportedly held talks with Swansea over a deal to sign West Ham target Alfie Mawson.
The Lancashire Telegraph reports that the English defender has emerged as a transfer target for Sean Dyche’s men.
West Ham had been heavily linked with a move for Mawson following Swansea’s relegation to the Championship.

The Hammers were being tipped to make a double move for both Mawson and Lukasz Fabianski, with the latter already joining from the Welsh club earlier in the transfer window.
Burnley are interested in both Mawson and his Burnley team-mate Sam Clucas, but no official bids have been lodged.
Dyche’s squad are preparing their Europa League campaign this season and are targetting both added quality and squad depth in their transfer business.
Both teams are likely to be able to offer Mawson regular first-team football, but Burnley would have the lure of European football if they beat Aberdeen in their opening game.
