West Ham have completed a deal for Lazio star Felipe Anderson, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, and the attacker will undergo a medical at the club on Friday.

Negotiations have been ongoing for many weeks now between the Hammers and Lazio, but it’s now believed that a deal has been closed ahead of a £35 million transfer for Anderson.

The versatile Brazilian will become West Ham’s most expensive ever signing by some margin, following the arrival of Issa Diop from Toulouse for £22.5 million earlier on this summer.
Anderson has been courted by a number of clubs in recent times but West Ham have evidently stolen a march on their fellow competitors and will recruit the player in a club-record deal.
The playmaker, who is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder and on the right, is likely to pass his medical examinations at West Ham without any complications.
