West Ham eyeing Herrera move

West Ham are displaying an interest in Mexican international midfielder Hector Herrera this summer.

According to Correio da Manhã, via Sport Witness, West Ham are among a number of clubs that have shown a willingness to move for Herrera over the coming weeks.

The report claims that Arsenal could make an offer for Herrera, as they look to bolster their midfield.

However, they will face competition from, at least, three other clubs – Arsenal, Everton and Roma.

Herrera is currently impressing in Russia for Mexico in the World Cup – where he has been able to help his side reach the knockout stages.

The report also claims that Porto are looking for a fee in the region of €15m for Herrera, who has attracted interest from Spanish side Real Betis earlier this year.
