West Ham line up deal to sign two players from Lazio

West Ham are prepared to pay a combined figure of €60 million to Lazio as they look to recruit Felipe Anderson and Jordan Lukaku this summer, according to reports from Italy.

The Hammers are keen to step up their pursuit of Brazilian playmaker Anderson and it seems they are intent on beating Leicester to the signing of Lukaku.

Following Manuel Pellegrini’s appointment as West Ham manager, the club have been keen to act fast in the market and according to claims from Il Tempo, as cited by Inside Futbol, they are keen to raid Lazio to further strengthen their squad.

Anderson and Lukaku both fell out of favour under Simone Inzaghi last term and could be set for respective exits from Lazio ahead of next season, with the Premier League beckoning.

West Ham want to tie up a deal for Anderson and have done for some weeks now, with Lazio understood to be demanding a figure in the region of €40m for their versatile attacking midfielder.

Lukaku is also looking likely to leave Lazio, but it remains to be seen whether or not West Ham can fend off competition from other potential suitors such as Leicester.
