West Ham and Newcastle are both keen on signing Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa this summer, according to La Provence.
The defensive midfielder has been a standout star for Marseille so far this season. At only 22 years old, the Cameroonian international surely has a bright future in the game.

To secure Anguissa’s signature, West Ham will have to beat out Newcastle United, who are also looking at the midfielder. Signing him would be a gamble, however, with bags of potential, Anguissa looks like a star for the future.
Zambo Anguissa has eleven caps for his country, and represented Cameroon at last summer’s Confederations Cup in Russia. The 22 year old will not be returning to Russia this Summer this year, as his country failed to qualify for the World Cup.
Marseille currently sit third in Ligue 1, sitting in a UEFA Champions League qualification spot. They are also into the round of 32 in the Europa League.
