West Ham defender Jose Fonte looks set to join Chinese Super League Dalian Yifang in a €5.5million (£4.9million ) move, according to Duncan Castles of the Daily Record.
According to the report, the Portuguese defender will travel to China on Monday to put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
The 34-year-old joined West Ham in January 2017 but a mixture of poor form, a change of manager and injuries have resulted in him being left out in the cold and as such, he’s set to leave the club.

West Ham paid £8million to sign the Euro 2016 winner from Southampton but are set to let him leave just over a year later as it’s clear that he’s not in David Moyes’ plans.
The West Ham boss hasn’t selected Fonte in any of the games he’s managed so far, so it’s no surprise to see him being sold to the Chinese Super League.
