Experienced full-back Patrice Evra is set to undergo a medical at West Ham United tomorrow, according to Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Hammers have been on the lookout for defensive reinforcements for some time now but were unsuccessful in their efforts to recruit a defender in the January transfer window.
However, the free agent market is always open and West Ham appear to be making use of this, with the addition of former Manchester United defender Evra in mind.

The 37-year-old has not been in action since November, when he was disciplined by his last club, Marseille. Evra received a seven-month ban from UEFA after he was pictured kicking a supporter of the club prior to a match.
This incident saw the ex-Juventus defender’s contract at Marseille terminated, and it seems he is now ready to return to the game, with Hammers boss David Moyes offering him a lifeline.
No stumbling blocks are expected ahead of the medical and West Ham will hope to have Evra available for selection when they welcome Watford to the London Stadium on Saturday.
