West Ham could be in for Preston striker Jordan Hugill, with Crystal Palace having a bid rejected for the forward, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
News has also been confirmed by the Daily Mail who say the Hammers have launched a late move to pip Crystal Palace to his signature.
We can confirm Jordan Hugill was available for selection this evening, but given recent speculation regarding his future the manager decided a team fully focused on the game was what would be needed for the match. #pnefc

Hugill, 25, was left out of Preston’s matchday squad for their game with Nottingham Forest, with manager Alex Neil admitting the player wasn’t fully focused due to transfer speculation.
West Ham boss David Moyes is keen to add to his squad before the 11pm deadline, with a move for the striker, who has found the back of the eight times this season, being rumoured.

The forward has spent four years with Preston after joining from Port Vale back in 2014 and has regularly been linked with a move away after enjoying a free-scoring campaign last year.
The Hammers may have left it too late to seal the deal with Preston and Hugill, however, it could be one to watch as the deadline edges closer.
